Carlo and I got no trick or treaters last night, despite having bought 2 bags of Reese's Peanut Buttercups and a bag of Kit Kats.
First thing this morning, I put all of them in my bag and took them to work where I placed them on the conference table in the main office. Half an hour later the Director comes in and places a few more bags of candy on the table saying that she had no trick or treaters either. Another half hour later the Education Assistant comes in with a bag of candy saying the same thing. I guess all the news's scare tactics about child molesters worked and the kids stayed home!
I'm proud to say that even though I had to walk by thousands of calories of candy many times today, I didn't touch one candy bar! I was very proud of myself and to be honest feeling quite snug because I was kind of grossed out by the amount of candy some office mates ate since I had a birds eye view of who picked candy up whenever they went by the pile. Every time I even thought about picking up a Snickers bar (which didn't happen as often as I thought it would), I just thought about the big glass of wine that I would have with dinner tonight that would be SO much more worth the points.

Carlo is running again! After over 2 months of not being able to work out due to hurting his ankle, we went running together this morning. Actually I thought he was going to just walk, so I went left around the block while he went right. We met in the middle and he was running, so we ran home together. He wasn't able to make it up the huge hill by our house, but he ran for over 20 minutes in total! I was very proud and happy to have my running partner back.

Glad you resisted the temptation!
We had lots of kids so all our candy went and I did not have a single one.

Glad to see your ankle is well enough to start exercising again.

Your will power is awesome!
I'm (unfortunately) the candy eater. I both love and hate the geniuses who keep coming up with different variations on Reeses.
