What I ate last week

Here is what I ate last week. Not super bad, but not super pretty either. There was a lot of crap that I really didn't need to eat or drink, which I have highlighted in red. I also need to start eating something else than salads, but I think this week may have been salad heavy because I ate out for the majority of the week.

2 cups frozen raspberries

2 cups fat free Greek yoghurt

Vanilla fat free yoghurt with peaches, raspberries, and granola

1 ½ eggs

½ cups egg whites

4 tbsp corn salsa

Tiny bit of grated cheese
1 veggie breakfast sausage patty

Salads

3 BBQ chicken salads with dressing on the side

Chinese chicken salad with dressing on the side

Dinner salad with vinaigrette on the side

3 side salads with vinaigrette on the side

Feta side salad with vinaigrette on the side

Arugula salad

½ lb plain hamburger
¾ Vietnamese spring roll with shrimp

Rice vermicelli salad with 3 oz pork loin, 3 mini egg rolls, and 4 shrimp

Baked potato with a tiny bit of sour cream and cheese on the side
2 oz BBQ chicken breast
2 chicken fajitas on whole wheat tortillas with grilled red peppers, mushrooms, and onions

Seared foie gras on brioche

4 scallops with mashed potatoes, fried parsnips, and beurre blanc

Falafel pita

4 oz whole wheat pasta with spicy tomato sauce

Snacks

2 Kashi Trail Mix bars

2 rye crisp crackers with cheese

Tortilla chips with hot sauce and guacamole

Handful of almonds

Things I really didn’t need to eat in retrospect

Piece of corn bread

2 pieces of garlic cheese toast

3 bite sized coconut macaroons

A couple of bites of salami

1 bottle white wine

1 ½ bottles red wine

1 ½ pints of Shiner Bock

Lots of water

Lots of mint green tea

Lots of iced tea

Have you been to the You Are What You Eat website? I started recording the episodes and am addicted. There's a whole 8 week meal plan with all the recipes. I think I'm going to give it a try post-Thanksgiving.

it is so good, isn't it? plus gillian loves poo just as much as i do.

i don't know about the meal plan. it sounds pretty scary. i think if you modified it a bit, it would be good.

Yeah, some of those YAWYE meals look foul, plus, I'm not sure that I can eat that much soup. They are really big on soup.
